toronto TUESDAY Dance JAM

What is the Toronto TUESDAY Dance JAM?

Sign up for your membership

Toronto Tuesday Dance Jam
The Toronto Tuesday Dance Jam is a weekly, membership-based contact improvisation (CI) jam featuring live improvised music, plus a pre-jam CI class. While many people participate as members, drop-ins are always welcome.

What to Expect
Experience the magic of contact improvisation with live music—dancers and musicians in real-time dialogue through movement and sound.
Contact Improvisation is a playful, responsive dance form rooted in touch, momentum, listening, and connection. Balance with a partner, explore weight and flow, and discover spontaneous movement together. This is a practice of presence, curiosity, and real human connection, held within a consent-based community that celebrates exploration and expression.
